Job summary

BD is seeking a Global Network Planner to join our Pont de Claix facility. With an engineering background and 3+ years in manufacturing supply chain, you will optimize the global supply plan and drive inventory efficiency.

You will use SAP SCM, Kinaxis, and other planning tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust supply planning and S&OP execution. English fluency is required and French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SCM, Kinaxis).
• Fluency in English; French language skills are a plus.
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global supply plans for assigned product portfolios, balancing customer demand, production capacity, and inventory targets.
• Monitor and analyze global supply chain performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and proactively developing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of the supply plan.
• Manage inventory levels across the global network, optimizing stock positioning to meet service level agreements while minimizing working capital.
• Utilize advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP SCM, Kinaxis) to generate forecasts, build supply plans, and perform scenario analysis.
• Lead or participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, providing key insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain planning process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, key metrics, and ongoing projects to management.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure smooth supply chain integration.
