Ipsen seeks a Global Lead of Patient Advocacy and Stakeholder Communications to shape and execute global patient advocacy strategies across the Neuroscience franchise. You will translate corporate priorities into programs that engage patients, caregivers, and external stakeholders, driving disease awareness and improved outcomes.

In this senior role, you will lead cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Brand Teams, and Digital colleagues, and represent Ipsen at key

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in patient advocacy, communications / PR, or related roles in pharma/biotech, with demonstrated delivery of tangible national outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to cross-functional brand teams for therapies in chronic conditions to support successful launches and healthcare pathway transformation
  • Prior experience developing and delivering disease awareness campaigns for sizable patient populations (eg women's health, migraine, obesity as examples); demonstrating business impact
  • Previous experience in global or regional roles; demonstrating collaboration and impact at country levels
  • Excellent business acumen, with the ability to link communications and advocacy strategies to business and pipeline priorities, especially at the national level
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels; Experience integrating patient voice into communications and commercial strategies
  • Strong cross-functional skills and proven ability to influence

Responsabilités

  • Partner with the Head of Corporate Affairs Neuroscience to develop and implement global corporate affairs priorities across the Neuroscience portfolio; Co-create annual objectives, engagement plans and performance measures aligned with franchise and corporate affairs priorities.
  • Identify opportunities and monitor external trends, stakeholder expectations and evolving healthcare priorities to inform recommendations and planning.
  • Develop and track a set of KPIs to show business impact for corporate affairs actions
  • Manage allocated budget and agencies
  • Act as a key corporate affairs partner for Global and Country cross-functional teams, fostering alignment around Neuroscience priorities; Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Patient Affairs, Market Access, Brand Teams, Communications, Digital and Social Media colleagues to support integrated planning and execution.
  • Work with priority-country teams to adapt and activate global initiatives in ways that reflect local stakeholder needs and market dynamics; Facilitate knowledge sharing, best-practice exchange and coordination across global and country teams.
  • influence franchise/asset strategy by advising brand and asset teams on external insights and trends that inform decision-making
  • Build strong working relationships with key country Corporate Affairs leaders and provide ongoing strategic support to local teams; Serve as a connector across functions and geographies to promote consistency of messaging, stakeholder engagement and programme execution.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with patient organisations, advocacy groups, professional societies and other relevant external stakeholders.
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement planning across priority markets and customer groups.
  • Facilitate opportunities for stakeholder perspectives to inform communications, disease-awareness and engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with country teams to support effective stakeholder engagement approaches and sharing of best practices.
  • Represent Ipsen at relevant conferences, forums and stakeholder meetings as appropriate.
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations that advance shared objectives related to awareness, diagnosis and patient outcomes.
  • Drive the development and execution of integrated global disease-awareness programmes that advance understanding of movement disorders and migraine as serious, often disabling neurological conditions, while supporting earlier recognition, appropriate care pathways and improved patient outcomes.
  • Work with agency partners and internal teams to support programme execution and delivery.
  • Manage a comprehensive approach to communications (owned, earned, shared and paid platforms), partnering with Digital and Social Media teams to identify, optimise and measure stakeholder engagement opportunities across digital channels, online communities and relevant stakeholder platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination and implementation of global campaigns across priority markets, partnering with internal teams, external agencies and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality programmes, activation toolkits and engagement resources.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen engagement across patient, healthcare professional, advocacy and policy stakeholder communities, ensuring programmes are relevant, impactful and aligned with business and corporate affairs objectives.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report programme performance, channel effectiveness, stakeholder engagement and business impact, leveraging insights and analytics to optimise campaign performance and drive continuous improvement.

Formation

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Communications, or related field
