IDEMIA in France is seeking a Software Category Manager to join the Global IT Purchasing team. You will lead strategic sourcing of software, hardware, and cloud solutions, and drive cost optimization through master agreements and SOWs with international suppliers.

The role requires 8–10 years IT procurement experience, strong negotiation and stakeholder management, and the ability to operate across cultures.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 8–10 years’ IT procurement experience across software, hardware, and cloud.
• Ability to interact with IT teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, strategy development, and supplier management.
• Experience in a complex, international environment.
• Proficiency with office and e-sourcing tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives (RFIs, RFPs, bids).
• Negotiate master agreements, SOWs, cloud contracts, licensing.
• Develop category strategies with IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive supplier performance, risk mitigation, and cost optimization.
• Provide guidance on contractual obligations and negotiations with Legal.
• Conduct market analysis, TCO assessments, and supplier risk evaluations.
• Build relationships and act as trusted advisor for procurement matters.
• Establish supplier governance, KPIs, and savings tracking.
• Support procurement transformation and process harmonization.
• Lead cost reduction and value creation programs.
• Develop, implement, and manage cost savings KPIs.
