This role offers the rare opportunity to spearhead a high-stakes innovation agenda that spans geographies, cultures, and technologies with real-world impact on global infrastructure and sustainability.

We are seeking a leader who can not only develop the innovation roadmap, but also can shape how the organization adapts, evolves, and embrace new thinking.

The Role
  • Lead and inspire an international, multi-site R&D organization, with a focus on excellence, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strategic management and governance of external licensee partnerships, with a focus on ensuring technological alignment, enabling long-term value creation, and strengthening the global innovation ecosystem
  • Harmonize development methodologies across sites to create an agile and scalable innovation infrastructure
  • Implementing a group-wide digitalization strategy with tangible results in smart manufacturing and predictive maintenance
  • Serve as the company’s technology ambassador to municipalities, engineering firms, public infrastructure agencies, and global customers
  • You will be a core member of the Executive Management Team, reporting directly to the CEO
The Profile
  • 10+ years of experience in R&D, innovation, or technology leadership, preferably within advanced materials, composites, or infrastructure sectors
  • Proven track record in managing complex innovation programs from concept to commercial launch across multiple international markets
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing, cross-functional, and international teams
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, able to operate effectively across matrixed organizations and cultures
  • High energy level and intrinsic drive to lead across borders, inspire teams, and deliver results
  • Strong international mobility with the ability and commitment to travel extensively (50%+), ensuring close alignment with production sites and senior stakeholders across Europe and other key regions
