Job summary

Alta Ares in Paris is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition specialist to own end-to-end GTM recruitment across international markets, with a focus on sales and business development roles in defense and aerospace.

You will build proactive sourcing strategies, headhunt high-impact candidates, and partner with sales leaders to define role requirements, while maintaining a strong candidate experience and employer brand in a fast-growing, international environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally combining agency or executive search with in-house recruitment.
• Strong experience recruiting Sales and Business Development profiles within defense/aerospace.
• Established understanding of defense and aerospace talent markets.
• Excellent hands-on sourcing and headhunting skills with ability to engage passive candidates.
• Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to partner with senior leaders and hiring managers.
• Entrepreneurial, autonomous and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills to convey Alta Ares' mission.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for Alta Ares' GTM teams, with a primary focus on sales hiring across international markets.
• Build proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for key commercial roles, including sales, business development, and other customer-facing positions within defense and aerospace.
• Drive hands-on headhunting to identify, engage and attract high-impact candidates from defense and aerospace companies, including passive candidates in highly specialized talent markets.
• Partner closely with sales leadership and hiring managers to define role requirements, align on hiring priorities, and deliver high-quality candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment process, from initial outreach to offer negotiation, ensuring speed, quality and an outstanding candidate experience.
• Position Alta Ares' mission, products and growth story to attract top commercial talent with a strong understanding of defense and aerospace markets.
• Develop and maintain networks across defense contractors, aerospace companies and relevant international industry communities.
• Track recruitment KPIs, identify bottlenecks and continuously improve sourcing strategies, interview processes and hiring efficiency.
• Contribute to strengthening Alta Ares' employer brand and talent networks across the global defense and aerospace ecosystem.
• Support recruitment across other business functions as needed, while maintaining a strong focus on GTM hiring.
