Job summary

Soitec is seeking a Global Field Operations & Continuous Improvement Lead to join our worldwide Field Application Engineering team. You will coordinate field projects, drive quality initiatives, and lead cross-functional operations across IT, quality, product, and sales.

This role offers hands-on exposure to project management, technical operations, and global team leadership, with duties spanning scheduling, KPI monitoring, training, and deployment of new product releases.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Computer Engineering, or related).
• 3–5 years of engineering support, project coordination, or technical operations.
• Excellent written and verbal English; clear cross-cultural communication.
• Strong multi-tasking and meticulous project tracking.
• Analytical mindset with focus on process optimization and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities, project schedules, and resource allocations for field engineers globally.
• Act as the central point of contact between field application engineers, quality, product, and sales teams to facilitate communication and swift issue resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, progress reports, and real-time deployment dashboards.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to drive project success.
• Provide first-line operational and technical guidance to field personnel resolving on-site challenges.
• Facilitate global deployment of new product releases, software/hardware upgrades, and standardized technical protocols.
• Organize and deliver technical training, updated documentation, and tooling improvements for field engineering teams.
• Assist FAE team in troubleshooting and resolving field operational issues.
• Assist in gathering and analyze field data to spot trends and optimize operations.
• Support QA standards by auditing compliance with specifications, safety guidelines, and SOPs.
• Participate in root-cause analyses and implement corrective action plans to boost reliability.
