Doctors of the World is seeking a General Coordinator - Worldwide to lead emergency response operations from the headquarters in Saint-Denis and missions abroad. The role combines field deployment (max 3 months) with HQ coordination, reporting to the emergency response head, and ensuring compliance with policies and donor requirements.

Qualifications

• Master a higher education degree in project management or a generalist field (Master's level).
• At least three years in humanitarian sector as head of mission or site coordinator.
• Experience in exploratory missions and risk analysis in conflict zones.

Responsabilités

• Supervise emergency operations in the field and lead response efforts.
• Open new missions following MdM procedures (supply, treasury).
• Conduct exploratory missions: context, stakeholders, strategy with team.
• Coordinate and supervise emergency response and cross-functional support.
• Manage operational risks and ensure business continuity.
• Act as security focal point and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Provide HQ support to national programs and develop operational tools.
