Job summary

Sol de Janeiro is seeking a proactive Desktop Administrator to join our global IT Operations team in Paris, France. The role focuses on end-to-end employee IT lifecycle, device provisioning, and MDM management to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience for all staff.

You will manage onboarding/offboarding workflows, maintain JumpCloud and NinjaOne, deploy apps, and collaborate with HR and security teams to uphold device security and compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Desktop Support or IT Operations.
• Strong macOS and Windows administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with MDM platforms such as JumpCloud, Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE or Kandji.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration: Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
• Solid knowledge of endpoint lifecycle management, imaging, provisioning, hardware refresh and secure decommissioning.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, access controls and device posture monitoring.
• Excellent documentation and ability to create and maintain SOPs and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee device provisioning, imaging and configuration.
• Manage account setup, license provisioning and access controls.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding asset retrieval, wipe and deprovisioning.
• Maintain MDM platforms (JumpCloud) and NinjaOne, including profiles and policies.
• Deploy applications, updates and enforce compliance settings.
• Provide Tier 2 endpoint support and maintain asset inventory.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and IT teams for global onboarding/offboarding workflows.
• Support EU users and align with NYC HQ IT Operations.
