Global Construction & Consumers Sustainability Director

Bostik is looking for a Global Construction & Consumers Sustainability Director for its head office in La Défense.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Sustainability Strategy:
Defines, structures, and maintains the GBU C&C Sustainability Strategy, aligned with the Bostik Corporate C&C Sustainability strategy / Corporate Arkema Sustainability strategy.
Assesses and analyzes company policies and processes to identify areas for improvement in accordance with the organization's commitment to sustainability.
Brainstorms and identifies creative ways for Bostik C&C to balance business obligations with environmental goals.
Acts as a focal point for external stakeholders regarding sustainability.
Drafts and implements sustainable organizational policies addressing environmental concerns.
Evaluates the efficacy of sustainability programs and recommends improvements.
Conducts research on environmental and sustainability issues.
Acts as an internal sustainability consultant to educate colleagues on trends and issues.
Manages all aspects of Bostik C&C’s contribution to Arkema sustainability initiatives to support CSR commitments.
Delivers objectives and KPIs in the C&C Sustainability roadmap based on the pillars of Responsible Manufacturing, Sustainable Innovation, and Trustworthy Collaboration. - Innovation:
Drives global sustainable innovation by identifying new products, packaging, and services opportunities.
Provides guidance on sustainable certifications meeting market requirements.
Ensures compliance with regulations and monitors execution. - Market:
Monitors global market trends and identifies gaps for growth.
Observes sustainability initiatives of competitors, suppliers, and end users.
Attends external events and provides feedback on market trends.
Builds relationships with key stakeholders.
Supports communication efforts to promote sustainability objectives.
Advises on regulatory changes impacting C&C in EMEA.
The profile we are looking for:
- You have a Bachelor degree in Business, Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent.
- You have 5 or more years of proven industry experience, preferably within the C&C market.
- You can manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
- You possess strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging at senior management level.
- You are adept at managing customer and key partner relationships.
- You are fluent in English, with proficiency in another European language such as German or French preferred.
