YOUR ROLE

The Chief Compliance Officer provides strategic direction, informs management of compliance breaches, and recommends solutions.

They oversee all compliance matters within CEVA, ensuring adherence to international and local laws, regulations, and procedures.

The officer will implement and manage standards, compliance programs, and ensure early detection of non-compliance.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  1. Provide strategic guidance to the CEO and Management Team, and prepare compliance reports for the board.
  2. Define necessary knowledge of regulatory compliance across the organization.
  3. Develop an annual compliance work plan tailored to CEVA.
  4. Oversee and monitor global compliance programs, ensuring issues are logged, managed, and escalated appropriately.
  5. Engage with regulators and internal/external committees on compliance issues.
  6. Ensure all CEVA entities comply with applicable laws.
  7. Manage complex global compliance investigations.
  8. Promote the One CEVA CODE and Group Ethic Chart.
  9. Ensure global data protection compliance.
  10. Train employees on relevant compliance issues.
  11. Coordinate with CMA CGM Group Compliance Officers to ensure consistency.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  1. A Master’s degree or legal/professional certification supporting compliance & ethics management.
  2. At least 15 years in senior legal or compliance roles.
  3. Strong HR, Finance, Audit, or Business experience.
  4. Minimum of 5 years supervisory or managerial experience.
  5. Technical skills in trade compliance, data privacy, sanctions, and embargoes.
