Global Cloud Legal Intern – Compliance & AI

Job summary

Tencent is seeking a six-month, full-time legal intern in Paris to support Tencent Cloud's international legal and compliance matters. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic in-house team, researching cloud, data protection, AI, and cybersecurity regulatory issues.

You will draft, review and translate contracts, prepare memoranda, and monitor EU developments while collaborating with English- and Mandarin-speaking colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree in Law or be pursuing one.
• Strong written and oral communication in English and Mandarin.
• Familiarity with EU legal/regulatory frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Tencent Cloud's international legal/compliance matters.
• Conduct legal/regulatory research on cloud services, data protection, AI, cybersecurity.
• Monitor EU developments and prepare updates for the team.
• Draft, review, translate contracts and other legal documents.
• Prepare internal memoranda and compliance guidance.
• Organize and maintain legal documentation; assist on projects.
