Job summary

L'Oréal in France seeks a Medical Doctor with PhD to lead safety assessments for ingredients, formulations and devices. You will validate clinical protocols, oversee safety data, and decide on launch of studies in collaboration with CROs within our R&I teams. You will apply strong GCP knowledge and provide medical leadership across cross-functional groups.

Fluency in French and English is required; autonomy and strategic thinking are essential as you shape Augmented Beauty safety strategy.

Qualifications

• MD degree required.
• PhD in a relevant field preferred.
• Proven track record in clinical safety, pathology, or safety-focused supervision.
• Fluent in French and English; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Assessment: analyze toxicology and safety data for ingredients/formulations to evaluate benefit/risk.
• Validate Clinical Protocols: develop safety-focused study protocols, including injectables and skin-penetrating technologies.
• Drive Key Decisions: make final calls on launching clinical studies based on safety assessments.
• Provide Medical Expertise: serve as the primary medical expert for R&I teams, collaborating with CROs.
• Shape Innovation: contribute to safety strategy for devices and Augmented Beauty portfolio.
