Our common goal

As a global business developer, you will play a pivotal role in increasing Vitra’s Global Account Network and in strengthening the growth of our business within new and existing clients. You will be responsible for enhancing the health of our international sales pipeline.

  • Discovering new business opportunities on an international scope through comprehensive market research and proactive networking.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, and partners.
  • Strategic planning and execution to ensure alignment with the company's overarching goals.
  • Identifying and leveraging relevant business networks to expand our reach.
  • Skillfully negotiating and closing deals to drive business success.
  • Managing and enhancing existing client relationships to ensure continuous growth and satisfaction.
  • Ensuring the relevance of our offering of services and solutions for global accounts, keeping it fresh and appealing.

How you can convince

  • Confident in all aspects of the sales process, from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Proven experience working within the A&D industry or a related field, with a strong network of local contacts and a successful track record.
  • In-depth understanding of technical requirements, competitive landscapes, and workplace design trends within the contract furniture market.
  • Demonstrates an appreciation and knowledge for quality and aesthetics, able to engage with A&D professionals on a peer level.
  • Exceptional ability to deliver compelling presentations and speak confidently in public settings.
  • A proactive mindset, sense of accountability, and a passion for growing both individual accounts and the overall business.
  • Fluency in English and French, both written and verbally.
