A leading logistics company in Marseille is seeking a Global Business Control Professional to analyze and consolidate commercial and operational information. You will optimize decision-making and assist in budget management. The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Finance or related fields and at least 1 year of controlling experience. Proficiency in Excel, Access, and SQL is essential.

YOUR ROLE:

You analyze, ensure reliability, and consolidate commercial, operational, and financial information to provide maximum visibility on the maritime line activity and thus optimize decision-making within the different Group Directions.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • You assist the line manager on a daily basis in managing its activity (implementation, monitoring, and development of specific indicators for each line + studies).
  • As such, you are responsible for producing the forecast and actual results of the line as well as establishing the budget.
  • You participate in the analysis of accounting/management discrepancies to identify potential operational problems and control standards. You alert the manager in case of deviations affecting the line accounts.
  • You conduct studies and propose corrective measures to optimize line performance.
  • You present financial synthesis information to Management.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Management or a Business School, Engineering School background.
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in controlling, ideally acquired within a large international group.
  • You are proficient in IT and office tools, Excel, Access, and SQL queries.
  • Your analytical skills, organizational sense, open-mindedness, and good interpersonal skills will be assets for success in this role.
