Role Overview

The Global B2C Marketing Automation & Orchestration Expert will lead the continued rollout of the B2C Marketing Automation initiative across countries, implementing global automation tools across countries to achieve key business objectives for consumers.

The role involves developing and establishing a structured, value-focused framework—including processes, tools, and metrics—to implement robust B2C Marketing Automation practices across the organization. The expert will make strategic decisions on core functionalities and new features of B2C Marketing Automation systems and provide guidance and support to countries during project implementation.

Key responsibilities include leveraging the Marketing Automation & Orchestration stack and methodologies to optimize consumer acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention. The role-holder will also support countries in operational "Run Mode" by sharing best practices, driving enhancements (e.g., new data requests for personalized experiences), and enabling new channel integrations.

The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with local teams to implement standardized practices, ensure adherence to guidelines, and foster best-in-class consumer engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the global roadmap for tool deployment

  • Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to ensure alignment with digital marketing & product teams, and organizational delivery capacity.
  • Define the target marketing technology stack components and integrate them seamlessly into the broader ecosystem.
  • Collect and analyze country-specific requirements, either directly or through Digital Marketing teams, to establish priorities.
  • Manage project and steering committees, providing clear progress updates, identifying risks, proposing mitigations, and escalating critical issues as needed.

Oversee stack maintenance and optimization

  • Lead all activities related to the upkeep of stack solutions, including financial negotiations, contract management, renewals, data protection compliance, and security clearance processes.

Manage partner relationships

  • Act as the primary point of contact for global stack partners, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing leaders and country teams to initiate, plan, and support the deployment of methods and processes.
  • Provide training, detailed implementation guides, and setup instructions to facilitate seamless adoption.
  • Include guidance on measures for legal compliance, data protection, and maintaining high-quality consumer data and creative assets.

Define and align standard methods & processes

  • Lead the development of standardized methods and processes, ensuring their integration with existing and related frameworks within the organization.

Analyze and prioritize enhancements

  • Evaluate current practices and gather country-specific requirements through Digital Marketing leaders. Analyze insights to prioritize updates or releases of methods and processes, maximizing business effectiveness and impact.
  • Regularly report on project status, deployment progress, and compliance with established methods and processes.

Qualifications

Education : A bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in B2C, B2B, or B2M marketing, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, Brevo).
  • Proven track record of leading global projects and implementing marketing frameworks.
