Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Market Leader for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). You will drive market initiatives, conduct research, analyze competition, and collaborate with product, sales, and marketing to shape strategy, positioning, and go-to-market plans.

The role reports to the GIS Product Leader. You will act as a bridge between product, commercial, and marketing teams, gathering market intelligence and commercial insights to inform decisions on portfolio alignment and regional execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years in sales, marketing, tendering, or engineering; experience in switchgear or HV sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of GIS products, power transmission/distribution, or related sectors is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, applications, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities and portfolio priorities.
• Coordinate with marketing to consolidate market intelligence and GIS market assessments for portfolio and roadmap discussions.
• Monitor product competitiveness via dashboards and capture customer voice for regional insights.
• Develop value propositions, battle cards, and product presentations to strengthen sales effectiveness.
• Support NPI commercialization by ensuring regional sales teams have necessary tools to win.
