Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor for on-site GIS product installations. You will train and oversee assembly teams at work sites, ensuring quality and safety compliance to deliver a reliable and guaranteed product to customers.

The role requires organizing HV substation assembly, coaching local teams in GIS operations, and applying GE safety standards. You will report to the Site Manager and work with international teams, with frequent travel across France and abroad.

Qualifications

• Engineer with initial international experience or Senior Electrotechnical Technician with 5 years of similar experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity and hydraulics.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Independently organize, coordinate, and supervise the assembly, testing, and commissioning operations of HV substations, with a constant focus on quality, safety, timelines, and cost optimization.
• Train local teams in GIS assembly operations in accordance with GE quality and safety standards; report safety deviations to the Site Manager, Project Manager, and management.
• Know and apply safety rules and procedures related to high-risk activities as defined by GE.
