Job Description:

Ready to bring your creativity and knowledge to design innovative deep tech systems at lightning speed while collaborating with transdisciplinary, international partners? PRONOE is an ocean CO2 removal startup based in France. The result is high-quality CO2 removal, valorization of otherwise wasted effluents, and local ocean acidification mitigation.

You will participate in projects on effluent dispersion into ocean environments, focusing on marine geochemistry and the ocean carbon cycle. Responsibilities include setting up experimental, monitoring, and analytical protocols and equipment for lab and field tests, analyzing experimental data, identifying trends, and proposing new research directions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in relevant fields.
  • Experience in geochemical engineering, environmental impact analysis, water treatment, fluid dynamics, data handling, sensors, mathematical/mechanistic/numerical modeling, automation, and project management.
  • Proficiency in scientific English, with good writing and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in mathematical modeling applied to geochemistry, environmental control via field sensors, piping system modeling, data treatment tools, analytical chemistry, and automation systems.

Position details:

  • Full-time, open-ended (CDI) position based in Paris, France, with travels within France and Europe.
  • Competitive salary and equity based on experience and seniority.
