General Manager Opportunity – World-Class Live Entertainment Venue

A leading, internationally renowned live entertainment destination in Dubai is seeking a General Manager to oversee the operations of an iconic, high-profile production that combines cutting-edge technology, immersive storytelling, and extraordinary artistry.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will have overall P&L responsibility and lead the day-to-day operations of one of the world’s most spectacular live shows. You will manage labour, guest experience, team performance, revenue streams, and overall business strategy to ensure the seamless execution of a globally acclaimed production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and implement operational procedures across all areas including guest experience, safety, team management, and revenue optimization.
  • Collaborate with department managers to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee cost control, ensuring adherence to budgets and achievement of EBITDA targets.
  • Support artistic decisions related to show updates and artist management.
  • Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of CapEx projects.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure the successful execution of advertising, trade marketing, and PR strategies.
  • Prepare and oversee annual operating, marketing, and capital budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a robust artist replacement strategy in coordination with HR and production teams.
  • Implement and enforce all security, maintenance, and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Director, or similar leadership role within live entertainment, hospitality, sports, or attractions.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive management experience in operational environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial strategy, budgeting, and managing profitability.
  • Strong background in theatre, live entertainment, or event production management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Team leadership and development
  • Project management and delivery
  • CapEx management
  • Budget development and adherence
  • Contract negotiation
  • Policy and protocol implementation

Skills and Attributes

  • Ability to lead and inspire diverse, multicultural teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
