The CEO of Seegene's France subsidiary plans and directs all aspects of the subsidiary's policies, objectives, and initiatives as approved by HQ.

He/she defines the vision, develops both short- and long-term strategies to achieve KPIs, recruits talented individuals, leads teams, and fosters a supportive organizational culture.

A key focus includes leading business development efforts in new equipment and laboratory automation/optimization to expand Seegene's presence in the evolving diagnostics market. The role also involves developing the subsidiary's budget, allocating funds, and making strategic adjustments.

The CEO establishes the overall direction and strategic initiatives for major functions or business lines, requiring strong business acumen and proven leadership experience suitable for heading an international subsidiary.

DUTIES :

  • Lead development and execution of new equipment business initiatives, focusing on laboratory automation and workflow optimization.
  • Oversee all business operations, ensuring alignment with Seegene's strategic goals and mission.
  • Develop and implement high-quality business strategies and action plans for short- and long-term objectives.
  • Enhance Seegene's market presence and customer engagement through strategic marketing aligned with HQ directives.
  • Build and maintain a network of market influencers, including KOLs, policy makers, and major laboratories.
  • Support product development initiatives, including partner identification and local development coordination.
  • Monitor market intelligence, competitor activities, regulatory trends, and customer movements.
  • Manage and expand business channels, developing new partnerships to increase market penetration.
  • Lead negotiations and approve agreements and contracts.
  • Generate and analyze business and financial reports, reporting findings to HQ.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Extensive experience (preferably 20+ years) in IVD or healthcare instrument companies, with a preference for MDx.
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) and business-level English.
  • Experience in a global or international company.
  • Knowledge and experience in molecular diagnostics are preferred.
  • Relevant educational background (e.g., Biology) is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with HQ and subsidiaries.
  • Proven ability in people management, development, and relationship building.
  • Independent, self-motivated professional with results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good business judgment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and dynamic environment.
  • Openness to diverse cultures and viewpoints.
  • Effective presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across various stakeholders.
  • Creative, innovative thinking and entrepreneurial mindset; experience in small companies is a plus.
