Job Description:

We are looking for professional, enthusiastic, and dedicated beer-loving General Managers to join our teams across France! Our English family brewery and pub company, “Wells & Co,” based in the UK, has existed for over 140 years. In addition to a portfolio of 160 pubs in the UK, we are proud of our 19 establishments offering unique English beers, great food, hospitality, and regular events. Our sites are located across France, including Paris, La Rochelle, Lille, Reims, Lyon, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Strasbourg, and Toulouse.

Job Details:

• Permanent contract – forfait jours
• Competitive salary: 47K€
• 5 weeks of holiday + RTT
• 3 weeks training in another establishment

Your role as General Manager:

• Overall management of the pub, maintaining front and back of house standards to ensure excellence in food and drink delivery
• Previous General Management experience in a pub or bar
• Fluent in English and French
• Excellent operational skills and solid back-office management
• Full financial understanding and ability to adapt to business needs
• Ambitious and result-driven, eager to grow your business
• Passion for the industry, English pubs, and great beer
• Energetic, vibrant, and a natural leader who can motivate and lead a team with passion, standards, and commitment
