Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Gen AI Architect/Principal Consultant to lead our Generative AI Technologies team in delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions. You will shape strategy, select models and tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer goals.

The role requires deep expertise in generative models, agentic systems, MCP interoperability, and RAG architecture. You will architect end-to-end solutions, drive platform standards, and mentor the team in a fast-evolving AI landscape.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of modern Generative AI techniques and foundation models.
• Experience designing autonomous and multi-agent workflows at scale.
• Strong understanding of MCP and interoperability standards.
• Ability to define reusable agent patterns, tools and skills.
• Expertise in RAG architectures, embeddings and vector stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generative and Agentic AI technology roadmap and strategy.
• Evaluate models, frameworks, RAG strategies and MCP integration.
• Design end-to-end AI architectures including data preprocessing and deployment.
• Define platform standards for agent orchestration and observability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to implement solutions.
• Optimize performance, cost, and latency; ensure governance and safety.
• Interface with customer teams to define requirements and SLAs.
• Mentor junior team members and share emerging trends.
