As a core part of the opportunity, you will be reviewing strong graphic images, sound files, and written content that may violate the guidelines of the community.

Responsibilities
  1. Follow Guidelines: moderating in accordance with The Social Element guidelines and client-specific guidelines.
  2. Escalation of Sensitive Content that falls within the official guidelines e.g., child safety, bomb threats, etc.
  3. Carrying out moderation and training according to the scheduled times in the project schedule.
  4. Complete Shift Reports using templates provided according to individual project requirements.
  5. Support and mentor moderators, providing guidance to new moderators.
  6. Inform Project Managers of technical or content issues and provide feedback on client issues.
Working Hours

Ideally, candidates should have flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends to cover all project hours.

Expected work is approximately 4 hours per week, with a minimum availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Hours may vary depending on project needs.

Requirements
  • Excellent Korean and English language skills: necessary for moderating content in both languages.
  • Background experience: moderation, community management, or extensive gaming enthusiast experience, including voluntary moderation of gaming forums or chat rooms.
  • Passionate Gamer: enjoyment and familiarity with gaming on consoles or PC.
  • Social Media knowledge: familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, etc., and awareness of gaming trends.
  • Digital native: comfortable with various technologies, apps, online, and cloud platforms.
  • Self-disciplined: capable of managing time and priorities independently while working remotely.
  • IT Policy: PC must meet specified hardware and software requirements, including OS, processor, RAM, internet speed, webcam, headset, and 2FA device. Chromebook, Linux, and Cloud VMs are unsupported.
