Description du poste

Reporting to the Lead Project Programmer, you will contribute to the setup and development of the gameplay feature architecture for an online project. Among other responsibilities, you will be tasked with participating in the design, implementation, and integration of services for various online features such as monetization, game progression, etc., in order to meet the specific needs of the project.

Responsabilities
  • Design, implement, and integrate gameplay features that leverage online services;
  • Provide technical guidance and support to game designers to help them achieve their vision and goals;
  • Collaborate closely with gameplay, network, and online programmers to ensure proper integration with other game components;
  • Stay up to date with best practices and emerging technologies in online services and web development to deliver the best possible online experience.
Experience and qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
  • Experience developing online components for a published game;
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and the C++ language;
  • Familiarity with GitLab, Git, or Perforce;
  • Experience with back-end services and in a DevOps environment (or other relevant experience) is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Python or .NET Core is a plus;
  • Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases is a plus;
  • Experience developing on Sony and Microsoft consoles is a plus.
