Job summary

Autoliv is seeking a Functional Safety Engineering Manager to lead safety-engineering activities across our global teams. You will motivate, evaluate and develop supervised personnel, and collaborate with RDE, investigation & problem solving, quality, and operations to uphold safety standards.

You will develop laboratories, organize prototype shops, deliver prototype and test results on time, and manage budgets while tracking KPIs like zero NCEP.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or engineering in Mechanical or industrial Engineering.
• Extensive experience in engineering or industrial engineering roles.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, evaluate and develop supervised personnel
• Cooperate with other departments ( RDE, Investigation & problem solving, quality, operation) and other Safety Centers)
• Develop the laboratory (chemical, mechanical tests,...) to better support local and global teams, improve efficiency
• Organize the prototype shop to improve lay‑out, efficiency, ability to build a maximum of inflator types
• Deliver prototype and test results on time
• Optimize ATU and APU, follow KPIs
• Manage the budget
• Zero NCEP
• Support Investigation and problem‑solving team
• Prioritize and escal

Skills

Extended experience in engineering/IE

Fluent English

Education
