A Thales está em busca de um Engenheiro de Segurança Funcional para se juntar à equipe de Sistemas Acima da Água em Portugal. O candidato ideal deve ter um diploma em Engenharia e experiência em engenharia de segurança funcional, com conhecimento em sistemas aeronáuticos civis e militares. Ele será responsável por analisar requisitos, definir estratégias de segurança e realizar avaliações de segurança de sistemas. A vaga requer fluência em português e inglês, e oferece a oportunidade de trabalhar em tecnologias de ponta em um ambiente inovador.

Qualifications

• Experiência como Engenheiro de Segurança Funcional, preferencialmente em sistemas aeronáuticos civis e militares.
• Conhecimento das disciplinas de engenharia de sistemas e engenharia de software.

Responsabilités

• Analisar requisitos do cliente e traduzi-los em requisitos de sistema para segurança funcional.
• Definir a arquitetura do Safety Case e identificar perigos do sistema.
• Formalizar estratégia de segurança em um documento de Plano de Programa de Segurança.

We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer to join our Above Water Systems team at Thales!

Your mission:

• Analyse customer requirements and translate them into system requirements for functional safety

• Define the Safety Case architecture, identify system hazards, maintain the hazard log, and define mitigation measures to reduce system-related risks

• Formalise the safety strategy in a Safety Program Plan document

• Collect evidence and perform the safety analysis

• Deliver the System Safety Assessment Report

Your profile:

• Degree in Engineering

• Experience as Functional Safety Engineer, preferably in Civil and Military aerospace avionic systems development

• Knowledge of the disciplines of systems engineering, software engineering and systems/software testing

• Fluency in Portuguese and English
