Job Description: A vacancy for a Function & System Design Responsible in Tactical Mission Management System & Datalink (f/m/d) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. You will join a team of engineers in the "Situational Awareness and Mission Management" department in charge of terrain/weather/threats/traffic awareness functions, vision enhancement and targeting systems, data-links as well as mission management systems for all (e-)VTOLs. Your mission will consist of system engineering activities and helicopter level integration of mission management systems interfaced with many contributor systems for civil and military helicopters.

Working Environment: Major economic hub with Marseille-Provence Airport, Marignane is a dynamic city in the southeast of France. It is located near Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, rich in cultural and tourist attractions. Close to the beaches of Côte Bleue, it offers many water sports options.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define and implement operational concepts and use cases for Tactical Mission Management Systems & Datalinks.
• Technical responsibility for Tactical Mission Management Systems & Datalinks.
• Requirements engineering, planning, supplier assessment, and stakeholder interface.
• Manage suppliers during development, support testing, and ensure qualification/certification.
• Apply agile development methodology, contribute to research and product strategy, and support knowledge exchange within Airbus.

Profile:

• Studies in Physics, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or similar.
• Experience in design, development, engineering, or integration of mission management systems.
• Knowledge in systems and requirements engineering, avionics integration.
• Experience with Tactical Mission Management Systems & Datalinks is advantageous.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and supplier management.
• Good communication, stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German, French, or Spanish is a plus.
