The FoodMaP Project, a collaboration between ANSES (Fougères) and CEA (Bagnols-sur-Cèze), announces a fully funded PhD position focused on the investigation of host-microbiota interactions and the toxicological effects of food contaminants. The research will utilize advanced metaproteomics and omics technologies to explore the impact of various contaminants on microbiota.

Key Features Of The Project

– Study the effects of CLD (pesticide), DON (mycotoxin), and BAC (biocide) on microbiota

– Dual supervision by Dr. Thibaut Léger (ANSES) and Dr. Lucia Grenga (CEA)

– Research utilizing Caco-2 cell models and axenic mice

– Training in mass spectrometry and bioinformatics across two research sites

Requirements

– Master’s degree (or equivalent) in microbiology, biotechnology, toxicology, or a related field

– Demonstrated interest and experience in omics, host-microbiota interactions, and bioinformatics

– Strong organizational, collaborative, and communication skills
