The mission

You will join our fast-growing R&D team based in Paris and Nantes on a mission to build, organize and develop our Insights, Optimization & Efficiency Fullstack Engineering team. You will manage a team of Fullstack engineers, based in Paris and Nantes, working on our brand new curation platform: Maestro. The aim of this team is to leverage the data to maximize the UI efficiency for the sake of our customers, by creating powerful reporting tools and optimizing the user experience by giving them access to the right data at the right time. You'll report directly to the Engineering Director, Demand.

What you'll do

  1. Lead and develop a team of Fullstack Engineers that have a passion for UI, code reliability and testability.
  2. Be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic plan with your team to develop, build and improve technically all the stacks (quality, ci / cd, technical debt, best practices, scalability, ...).
  3. Work in an agile and multi-expertise team composed of Product management, UX designers, software and data engineers, QA and DevOps.
  4. Work closely with R&D and Product Management to give vision to your team, as well as gather and translate requirements into realistic technical solutions.
  5. Assess quality of produced features by monitoring and tests, reviewing code to ensure maintainability, checking processes and documentation.
  6. Participate actively to the team spirit, be a role model for your team, supporting both the technical vision of the company and the growth and performance of your team members.
  7. Use remaining time and your strong development skills: To take part to architecture discussions to boost global engine performance / To participate to the day to day scope of the team: Design, develop, deploy and maintain scalable and highly available solutions for our platforms engines.
  8. Innovate and learn in autonomy during our Smart days.

About you

  1. 5+ years of web software development experience with C# .NET, REST WebAPIs, SQL and modern front-end technologies (Angular, HTML5, CSS, SASS).
  2. Experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
  3. Customer oriented approach: you deliver clean and usable solutions for customers (and you know that customers hate bugs!).
  4. You're a keen technology watcher and can't stop experimenting with the latest novelties.
  5. You know how to deal with Data.
  6. Proficient in verbal and written English.
  7. Entrepreneurial spirit and know-how to identify opportunities of improvement.
  8. Personal projects with code sharing, we're curious about your art!
