This role involves creating elegant global components, tackling technical blockers, and harmonizing various data models. You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of your solutions, from design to maintenance.

We are hiring a Global Architecture Engineer to design and unify cross‑country technology components at Alan.

Your Mission

• Design Cross‑Cutting Modules – transform country‑specific implementations into elegant global components that become building blocks for other teams.
• Remove Technical Blockers for Product Teams – tackle technical blockers spanning multiple domains and eliminate team‑specific workarounds.
• Orchestrate Data Transformations – implement strategies to harmonize different countries’ data models, consolidating existing data into unified schemas.
• Build and Own Your Solutions – take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of your solutions, from design through long‑term maintenance, and deploy and maintain the work you create.

• You write code and maintain what you build.
• You’re able to navigate complex systems spanning multiple business domains and technical boundaries.
• You’ve worked with diverse architectural patterns and can articulate the nuanced trade‑offs between them.
• You can spot technical obstacles that are blocking multiple teams and design solutions that remove those obstacles.

Is It You We're Looking For?

• Well‑versed in object‑oriented programming such as Python, Java, C# and enthusiastic about modern JavaScript web technologies.
• Willing to work primarily in Python/JavaScript (but not required to have experience with both).
• Passionate about building products.
• Self‑starting, entrepreneurial and collaborative.
• Humble and eager to grow, regardless of seniority.
• Fluent in English (French is not required).
