JOB DESCRIPTION

Today we're looking for a software engineer to join the Merchant Procurement Team. The Merchant Procurement mission is to ensure the right quantity of goods at the proper place, time, and quality. Examples of features developed by the team include:

• Generating Purchase Orders and maintaining the reference of Purchase Orders.
• Scheduling appointments with suppliers for goods delivery to warehouses.
• Monitoring receipt of goods in warehouses.

As a developer on the team, your main role is to develop the product's features according to business needs. You will work closely with the Lead Developer, Product Owner, other developers, QAs, and SREs.

TASKS

• Develop new features and redesign existing features of our products.
• Suggest interfaces and other possible improvements.
• Maintain clean code and review team members' designs.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of applications.
• Respect production deadlines.
• Review legacy code to prevent bugs.
• Write technical documentation.
• Conduct technical interviews for potential new developers.

MUST HAVE skills

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer.
• Proficiency in Typescript, React (or similar framework), and .Net Core C#.
• Comfortable working in asynchronous environments.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB & PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with cloud programming tools and willingness to expand knowledge.
• Ability to ensure code quality with unit and integration tests.
• Result-oriented and product-focused mindset.
• Fluent in English.

NICE TO HAVE skills

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of microservices, DDD, event sourcing, CQRS.
• Good experience with testing (unit and integration).
