Europcar Mobility Group is a major player in mobility markets.

Its purpose is to offer attractive alternatives to vehicle ownership, in a responsible and sustainable manner. With this in mind, the Group offers a wide range of car and van rental services – be it for a few hours, a few days, a week, a month or more – with a fleet that is already "C02 light", equipped with the latest engines, and which will be increasingly "green" in the years to come (more than 1 / 3 electric and hybrid vehicles by 2023).

Job Description

The successful candidate will assist in a number of tasks, including the following :

  • Participate in the drafting, negotiation and follow-up of the execution of a wide variety of contracts (franchise, OISP, buyer-reseller, partnership), as well as drafting amendments.
  • Assisting in pre-litigation matters (advice to the teams, drafting letters).
  • Carrying out research and drafting notes on specific legal questions primarily related to distribution and/or competition law in order to provide pragmatic legal recommendations, mainly in English.
  • Assistance with the competition law training program.
  • Assist in the management of contract documentation flow, approvals, reporting and archiving consistent with internal processes.
  • Contributing to the preparation of meetings and workshops.
  • Collaborating if necessary more widely with the economic law team.
  • Any other administrative tasks which may be required.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Internal: the legal team; business teams of the Europcar Mobility Group and in particular with the Franchise, GSA, Broker and Alliance teams.
  • External: N/A.

Qualifications

Previous experience: Previous work experience is welcome.

Computer skills: Familiarity with Google’s Office suite.

Personal characteristics: Enthusiastic, rigorous, efficient, solution-oriented, team-player.

Skills:

  • Strong general understanding of commercial law and commercial contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organisational and prioritisation skills will be required to successfully manage your own workload and the business’ expectations.
  • A firm grasp of written and spoken English.
