NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France that holds a significant stake in their market. This is a really cool client - they avoid pointless meetings, focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and have serious growth plans! I work with many clients, but this one always leaves a great impression on candidates, even those who are not successful. I’ve placed 2 developers there, both have stayed over 4 years and are still there.

The Role:

1. Greenfield development
2. Identify and communicate the root cause of problems to establish better solutions
3. Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
4. PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

You?:

1. A lover of the RoR stack – ideally with 4+ years Ruby on Rails experience
2. Strong English skills – written and verbal – must be proficient
3. Ability to work French hours +/- 2 hours

Interview process:

1. Meet with EM/CTO – discuss the role, company, and your background
2. Technical coding challenge
3. Review feedback and meet wider team members
