NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market presence. This client is known for a no-nonsense approach, focusing on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and has ambitious growth plans. Candidates often have positive experiences with this employer, with many staying over four years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Utilize PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about the Ruby on Rails stack with 4+ years of experience
• Proficient in English (written and verbal)
• Able to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with the Engineering Manager/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your background
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Receive feedback and meet other team members
