NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market presence. This client is known for their efficiency and growth ambitions. Candidates often have positive experiences working there; two developers placed have stayed over 4 years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, interfacing with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and develop mobile app integrations

Candidate Profile:

• Passionate about the RoR stack with 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Able to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

1. Meet with the Engineering Manager/CTO to discuss the role, company, and experience
2. Complete a technical coding challenge
3. Review feedback and meet wider team members
