NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France, holding a significant market share. This client is highly regarded for their pragmatic approach—avoiding unnecessary meetings and focusing on fixing issues at their root. They are planning substantial growth and have a positive reputation among candidates. I have placed two developers there, both of whom have stayed over four years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and integrate with mobile apps

You?:

• Passionate about the RoR stack, with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Proficient in English (written and verbal) to work effectively in this language
• Able to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

1. Meet with the Engineering Manager or CTO to discuss the role, the company, and your background
2. Complete a technical coding challenge
3. Receive feedback on the challenge and meet other team members
