Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market share. This client is highly regarded for their efficient work culture, avoiding pointless meetings, and focusing on fixing problems rather than covering cracks. They have ambitious growth plans and a strong reputation among candidates, with previous placements lasting over four years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about the Ruby on Rails stack, with 4+ years of experience
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Able to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with the Engineering Manager/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your experience
• Technical coding challenge
• Feedback session and meeting wider team members
