Qualifications

Responsabilités

Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market presence.

This is a highly regarded client known for its efficient work culture—minimal unnecessary meetings and a focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks. They have ambitious growth plans.

I've worked with many clients, but this one always leaves a great impression on candidates, even those who are not selected. I have placed two developers there, both of whom have stayed for over four years.

The Role:

1. Greenfield development
2. Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
3. Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
4. Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about the Ruby on Rails stack, with 4+ years of experience
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to work effectively in this language
• Able to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

1. Meet with EM/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your background
2. Complete a technical coding challenge
3. Receive feedback, then meet with wider team members
