Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France that holds a significant stake in their market. This is a great client - they avoid pointless meetings, focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and have serious growth plans! Candidates who have worked with this client have left lasting positive impressions; I have placed two developers there, both have stayed over four years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

You?:

• Passionate about the RoR stack – ideally with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong English skills – written and verbal – must be proficient
• Able to work French hours, +/- 2 hours

Interview process:

• Meet with EM/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your background
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Review feedback and meet wider team members
