Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France that holds a large stake in their market. This is a really cool client - they avoid pointless meetings, focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and are eyeing serious growth plans! I work with many clients, but this one always leaves a great impression on candidates, even those who are successful in the process. I've placed 2 developers there—both have stayed 4+ years and are still there.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

About You:

• A lover of the RoR stack – ideally with 4+ years Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong English skills – written and verbal – proficient to work in this language
• Ability to work French hours +/- 2 hours

Interview Process:

• Meet with EM/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your background
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Discuss feedback and meet wider team members
