Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market share. This company is known for its efficient work culture—minimal pointless meetings and a focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks. They have ambitious growth plans and a strong reputation among candidates. I have successfully placed two developers there, both of whom have stayed for over four years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and develop mobile apps

Candidate Profile:

• Passionate about the RoR stack, with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong English skills, both written and verbal, proficient enough to work in this language
• Able to work French hours, with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with EM/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your background
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Review feedback and meet other team members
