Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market share. This client is highly regarded for their efficient work culture, avoiding pointless meetings, and focusing on fixing issues rather than covering cracks. They have ambitious growth plans and are known for leaving a positive impression on candidates. I have successfully placed two developers there who have stayed for over four years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and develop mobile apps

Ideal Candidate:

• Enthusiast of the RoR stack with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Able to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with Engineering Manager/CTO to discuss the role, company, background, and experience
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Review feedback and meet wider team members
