Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market share. They are known for their efficient work culture, focusing on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and have ambitious growth plans. Candidates who join often stay for many years, with previous placements lasting over 4 years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Utilize PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work French hours +/- 2 hours

Interview Process:

• Meet with EM/CTO to discuss the role, the company, and your background
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Discuss feedback and meet wider team members
