NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France that holds a significant stake in their market. This is a highly regarded client - they avoid pointless meetings, focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and have ambitious growth plans! I have worked with many clients, but this one always leaves a great impression on all candidates, including those who are successful in the process. I have placed 2 developers there, both of whom have stayed for over 4 years and are still employed.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about the RoR stack with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to work effectively in this language
• Able to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with EM/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your background
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Review feedback and meet other team members
