Job summary

Alice & Bob, a pioneering quantum computing startup in Paris, is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern to join the ABDB platform. You will ship features end‑to‑end across front‑end, back‑end, and data layers, enabling researchers to design, simulate and measure quantum processors with AI agents as active participants.

Reporting to the Frontier Team Manager, you will collaborate with ABDB user teams to translate user needs into production features, evolve the Python client, and help scale

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bac+5 in CS/Software Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience in full‑stack or backend development.
• Familiar with a backend or frontend framework.
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Git and code review practices.
• Interest in LLM tooling and AI‑assisted development.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features on the ABDB platform end‑to‑end across stack (UI, API, Python client).
• Extend programmatic and agentic access with MCP tools, validation, permissions and audits.
• Modernize data ingestion and integrations with upstream/downstream tools.
• Improve performance, observability, testing and CI for a cloud platform.
• Collaborate with Frontier teams and ABDB user groups and participate in code reviews and documentation.
