Alice & Bob in Paris is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern (M/F) to join the Cloud-focused Frontier team. You will help ship features end-to-end from user needs to production, mentored by senior developers, and collaborate with research and design groups.
This internship offers hands-on experience in a cutting-edge quantum computing project and a chance to contribute to an open platform used by researchers; Paris-based, full-time role.
Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern M/F at Alice & Bob, Paris. A intern-level full time position in the Cloud team, listed under software engineering.
Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems. The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously! We're a diverse team of 250+ brilliant minds from over 35 countries united by a single goal: to revolutionise computing with a practical fault-tolerant quantum machine. Are you ready to take on unprecedented challenges and contribute to revolutionising technology? Join us, and let's shape the future of quantum computing together! Purpose of the role In a context where Alice & Bob's R&D increasingly relies on structured, end-to-end data to design, simulate and measure its quantum processors, ABDB is the platform that holds that data (chip designs, wafers, simulations, measurements, cooldowns) and serves it to research teams and to downstream tools. With the Frontier team taking product ownership of ABDB and the platform moving to a scalable cloud infrastructure, the Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern strengthens the team's capacity to deliver the features its users need and to open the platform to AI agents as active participants in the R&D loop. Reporting to the Frontier Team Manager and tutored by ABDB's lead developer, they will work closely with the Frontier team and with ABDB's user teams (Chip Design, Quantum Hardware Infrastructure, Platform) to ship features end-to-end, from user need to production.
