Full Stack Developer

$4,000 to $6,000 per month

Typical hours are Monday-Friday working GMT/BST with potential on-call support required

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Data Deliverables team, responsible for building representations through which our clients receive our data. You will be working with the team to ensure code quality and best practices on frontend and backend code.

What you'll be working on:

• Building out frontend applications to present data visualisations to users
• Learn and begin to work with the Golang backend microservices that manage configuration and transform data
• Review designs and code; identify areas for improvement
• Get involved with other development team activities: testing, alerting, building and deploying

About the Data Deliverables team:

You will join the Data Deliverables team, responsible for building representations through which our clients receive their data. This is a cross-functional Agile team consisting of an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, other Developers, QA, DevOps, Data Analysts, a BA and a PM.

Our current Tech Stack:

• TypeScript
• React, MaterialUI
• Go
• MariaDB, ClickHouse
• Git, GitLab

You should apply if you have:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn – we’re more interested in the right mentality than a specialism in a specific technology
• Experience writing JavaScript/TypeScript web apps, especially React
• Experience writing backends for web apps
• Experience reviewing the code of other developers and helping establish team quality standards
• Experience writing automated unit tests

These skills will help, but aren’t essential, as we can offer training:

• Experience with microservices and microservice architecture
• Experience with Go
• Experience building apps for data visualisation
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines

The interview process:

1. 45-minute introduction call
2. Take home task (max 2 hours)
3. Technical interview & continuation of take-home task
4. Final culture call with CEO
