Job summary

Genesis is a physical AI research lab and full-stack robotics company on a mission to unlock unlimited physical labor. We're building a universal robotics foundation model that unifies high-fidelity physics simulation, generative modeling, and large-scale real-world robot data.

You're the front line of how Genesis wins talent. You will define how we source for years to come: the channels, playbook, tooling, and the bar at the top of the funnel.

Qualifications

• Sourced senior, hard-to-win technical talent in a competitive market.
• Read technical profiles to identify signals from noise and identify exceptional candidates.
• Write outreach that feels personal and well-researched, not generic.

Responsibilities

• Source elite Research Scientist, SWE, and Robotics/infra candidates who are not on the market and have no reason to leave their current lab.
• Source candidates from papers, GitHub, conferences, and citation graphs rather than job boards.
• Write personalized, credible outreach that earns replies from senior researchers and engineers.
• Map markets, build target lists, and keep pipelines healthy and moving for active searches.
• Stand up scalable, well-organized sourcing in Ashby and automate repetitive parts.
