Senior Design Engineer - Berlin (On-Site)

About the Company

We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing startup based in Berlin. We are open to EU-based candidates who are willing to relocate for an exciting on-site opportunity.

Please note: We can only consider EU citizens or candidates who already hold the right to work in Germany. Visa sponsorship is not possible.

This role combines frontend engineering skills (80%) with a good eye for design (20%). You will collaborate closely with the founding team.

What You'll Do

1. Own the user experience and interface of a devtool used by thousands of teams
2. Collaborate directly with the founders and engineering team
3. Design and implement user-facing features using technologies like Next.js, Tailwind, Clickhouse, and Postgres
4. Contribute to an open-source project and build in public

What We're Looking For

1. 3+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development with a strong UI/UX focus
2. Strong design skills and passion for intuitive interfaces
3. Experience (or willingness to learn) modern tools and frameworks
4. Proactive, independent mindset and hands-on approach

Contract & Compensation

• Full-time, permanent position
• Location: On-site in Berlin, Germany
• Language: English (required)
• Salary range: €70,000-€130,000 gross/year, depending on experience
• Equity options available
• Company name will be disclosed in later stages of the process
