Join the Royal Canin Digital Factory to participate in this transformation. You will join a multi-cultural, dynamic, and caring team working together on all the digital projects of the brand. Royal Canin's Digital Factory is key in achieving this strategy through practices such as UX/UI, Development, Product Ownership, Market deployment, Architecture, and Governance.

While the team develops new digitally enabled business models shaping the future of Royal Canin and Eukanuba, they also support the transformation of existing models.

In this digital acceleration context, Royal Canin needs to reinforce its internal strengths with digital, user-centric, and data capabilities. Based in Aimargues, this role will sit within our Digital Factory, which aims to:

• Develop service-driven and digital platforms supporting “Pet Health Guardians”
• Enhance capabilities in Design Thinking, UX, Agile Management, Mobile/Web/Ecommerce development, Digital Platform deployment, and Data-driven transformation
• Leverage these capabilities to design and build future Business Models
• Assist in acquiring data and driving traffic to owned assets, transforming data into digital performance metrics and business insights

The Digital Factory, as part of the Direct to Pet Owner organization, collaborates closely with Marketing, Sales, and Innovation teams.

Reporting to the Digital Factory Lead, we are hiring a Frontend Architect, who will define and drive the frontend technology strategy across the Digital Factory to support organizational ambitions.

What are we looking for?

7 to 15 years of experience in Frontend Development within a digital environment.

Experience managing complex technical projects internationally and in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

Ability to work with diverse teams and dynamics to achieve challenging delivery objectives.

Leadership experience with technical teams, both internal and external.

Fast learner with influencing and negotiation skills.

What will be your key responsibilities?

The Frontend Architect will lead, guide, and supervise multiple development teams working on projects using Angular and/or React technologies. They will design and implement robust, scalable technical solutions, ensuring quality, performance, and consistency of applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Establishing and steering software architecture aligned with project and organizational goals.
• Overseeing quality and technical standards within teams.
• Communicating technical matters effectively, leveraging expertise, and enhancing team visibility.
• Leading technical teams, ensuring coordination and technical excellence.
• Proposing optimal design solutions based on functional and business challenges.
• Mentoring and guiding teams in Angular and React development.
• Designing system architecture ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborating with teams to understand requirements and define technical solutions.
• Enforcing coding standards and best practices.
• Managing technical risks throughout development.

Meetings include synchronization with frontend leads, technical retrospectives, design authority sessions, and collaboration with DevOps teams.
